Design Notes

This Southlake kitchen addition, designed by A Well Dressed Home, is finished in light gray shaker-style cabinetry, with glass-front display uppers flanking a furniture-style range hood and a full-height marble-look slab surround behind the professional-style range. A large island with a farmhouse sink and gooseneck faucet anchors the room beneath a cluster of mercury-glass pendant lights, and white subway tile and dark stained hardwood floors run throughout.

The kitchen opens to a breakfast room addition furnished with a rustic wood table beneath a wrought-iron chandelier, framed by full-height windows and French doors to the backyard, and to a two-story family room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace surround finished in herringbone stone and a mounted television. A separate sitting room off the main living space is furnished with a pair of patterned wingback chairs.
