Kitchen Remodel · Southlake
Red Hot Kitchen
A Southlake kitchen renovation built around a red-painted island with an X-brace barn-door panel, dark leathered countertops, and a pair of oversized bronze dome pendants.
Design Notes
This Southlake kitchen centers on an island painted a bold red with an X-brace barn-door-style panel on its face, topped in a dark leathered-finish countertop and paired with a farmhouse-style sink and pull-down faucet. White shaker-style perimeter cabinetry runs the length of the room, backed by a white subway tile backsplash beneath a stainless steel hood and a professional-style range, with a built-in refrigerator and wine refrigerator along the wall. A pair of oversized bronze dome pendants hangs over the island, ringed by industrial tractor-seat stools, and hardwood floors run throughout.
The kitchen opens to a breakfast nook with a bay of windows and a navy accent wall, and to a living room with a reclaimed-wood-look shiplap accent wall and a mounted television.
