Design Notes
This Southlake laundry and mud room is finished in dusty blue shaker-style cabinetry, from the tall upper storage wall to the base cabinets flanking a utility sink with a matte black gooseneck faucet. A distressed, reclaimed-look porcelain tile accent wall runs behind the built-in front-load washer and dryer and along the adjoining wall, paired with polished concrete flooring and a wall-mounted wood coat rack with hooks. The washer and dryer are built in beneath a folding station, and a freestanding island with white quartz countertops and drawer storage sits at the center of the room for additional folding, lit overhead by a concrete-and-metal rectangular chandelier.
